Applied Anatomy
for Personal Trainers
Learn the Muscles. Understand the Movement. Coach with Confidence.
About This Course
Most trainers try to learn anatomy by memorizing muscles, origins, and insertions. But when a client can't squat properly, struggles with balance, or experiences pain during an exercise, that knowledge is either gone or doesn't always translate into coaching decisions.
Why It Matters
Applied Anatomy for Personal Trainers bridges the gap between anatomy and real-world coaching. You'll learn how muscles create movement, how to recognize common movement compensations, and how to apply anatomy to assessments and exercise selection.
By the end of the course, you'll be able to connect anatomy to movement with confidence and make better coaching decisions for your clients.

Loise is outstanding instructor with a deep understanding of the subject matter. Really intelligent, knowledgeable and very approachable. She combined sharp intellect with deep knowledge and a friendly demeanour.
She used real life examples to drive home the points she was trying make and it really helped.
You can ask her anything and she would have an answer, and if she didn't know (which didn't happen often) she would research it and have the answer either by the end of the day or the next class. No question was to tough for her.
She made the not so interesting topics interesting and easy to follow. She has a way of breaking down complex concepts into easy to understand ones.
Her strengths were especially evident in the practical sessions. where she demonstrated exceptional skill and confidence.
She would talk about a specific exercise, demonstrate it, then have us do it, correcting anything that she noticed but she did it in such a professional manner and never, ever judged. She really did practice what she preached (taught). She genuinely came across as caring-and she truly did.
I would go home after every class feeling like I learned so much, which is directly related to how Loise taught and presented the topics.
She also has a sense of humour that made the class more enjoyable.
Thanks Loise for delivering an excellent course and for sharing your expertise in such a professional and accessible manner.

The transformation
Most trainers learn anatomy by memorizing muscles, origins, and insertions for an exam. A few months later, much of that information is forgotten, and it can be difficult to connect anatomy to real coaching situations.
You may know the names of the muscles, but still find yourself wondering:
Why does this client's squat look different?
Why can't they maintain good posture during this exercise?
What muscles should I focus on when a movement breaks down?
Which exercise is the best choice for this client right now?
By the end of this course, you'll understand the major muscle groups, their primary functions, and how they contribute to movement. More importantly, you'll know how to apply that knowledge when assessing movement, selecting exercises, and helping clients move and perform better.
Instead of memorizing anatomy, you'll learn how to use it.
